Privacy Policy — Trading 212 Monthly Guard

Effective date: 9 August 2026

Trading 212 Monthly Guard is a local browser access-control extension. It does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or remotely process personal information.

Data handled locally

The extension stores two rule values in local extension storage: the number of emergency passes remaining and the expiry time of an active 30-minute emergency session. These values are used only to provide the extension's access-guard function.

The extension does not read Trading 212 page content, credentials, balances, portfolio information, positions, orders, transactions, browsing history, or cookies. It contains no analytics, telemetry, advertising, affiliate tracking, account system, or external network service.

Retention and deletion

Rule state remains in the local browser profile until the user clears extension data or uninstalls the extension. An expired session timestamp is cleared when the access rule is next evaluated.

Data sharing and sale

No data is transmitted off the user's device, so no data is shared or sold to third parties.

Security and limitations

The extension uses Manifest V3 and bundles all executable code in the submitted package. Users can disable or uninstall the extension, clear its local state, change browsers, or use the Trading 212 mobile app. The extension is a voluntary self-control aid, not an irreversible security control or financial-advice service.

Trading 212 Monthly Guard is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Trading 212.
